Materials, Wear and Care

Materials, Wear and Care

Discover easy suggestions for keeping your jewelry’s exquisite quality.

We only use the high-quality, sustainable, and recycled metals, always with socially conscious production with gems and pearls from responsible and caring USA suppliers.

“Wear and Care” instructions for all jewelry:

Use provided cloth, all-cotton or a microfiber, materials soft enough for your eye-wear and gently polish. For all jewelry, avoid household chemicals, perfumes, and creams as well as exercising and sleeping while wearing your jewelry. Styles featuring white Rhodium and gold vermeil should not be exposed to water. Enjoy your jewelry every day and store it in an airtight baggy or Stephanie’s branded pouch to keep it from oxidizing, tangling, and scratching.

Sterling Silver

Sterling silver Wear and Care

Because sterling silver is prone to tarnishing over time, it is best to avoid water when wearing your piece of polished silver or rhodium plated jewelry.

Gold Vermeil

Gold Vermeil Wear and Care

Sweat, water and perfumes should be always be avoided. Moisturize and spray before you put your vermeil piece on. We suggest removing your jewelry before exercising, showering, and swimming. Even though it is durable, it is still plated, so gently rub with microfiber, 100% cotton, or the polish cloth that comes with your jewelry.

Gemstones

Chemicals and extreme temperatures are not recommended. To keep your gems clean and shiny, simply use a soft brush with warm soapy water and dry with a soft cloth.

Pearls

Pearls Wear and Care

Remember to put your pearls on after applying your perfumes, hairsprays and cosmetics then gently clean them with a soft damp cloth whenever needed. Because pearls are delicate in nature, they should be last on and first off.

Pure Gold

Pure Gold Wear and Care

Just like all jewelry, even solid gold needs tender loving care. You should always avoid sleeping with it on. A quick soak in warm soapy water and a super soft toothbrush with a gentle rub will help maintain its shine.
